The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to announce the results of the BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam (TRE) 2023 soon. The commission has already released the final answer key for the exam.
Final Answer Key Released
The BPSC has uploaded the final answer key for the BPSC TRE 2023 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the exam can visit bpsc.bih.nic.in to check the answer key.
No Negative Marking
Candidates can calculate their probable score with the help of the answer key. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
Cutoff Marks
General category candidates will have to secure 40% marks to qualify the exam. The cutoff is 36.5% for OBC, 34% for SC/ST, and 32% for female and PwD candidates.
Over 1.7 Lakh Vacancies
The TRE exam was held on August 24, 25 and 26 to fill 1,70,461 teaching positions across classes 1 to 12. The question paper comprised objective and multiple choice questions.
Results Likely by Mid-October
As per local media reports, the result is likely to be announced by October 15 or 16. BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad had earlier indicated via tweet that the result may come out by mid-October.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the BPSC and Amar Ujala websites for result updates. The outcome of this mammoth recruitment drive is keenly awaited by lakhs of aspirants in Bihar.
Exam Conducted Across 1,083 Centres
The BPSC Teacher Recruitment Exam 2023 was conducted across 1,083 exam centres in 38 districts of Bihar.
Over 13 lakh candidates had registered for the exam, out of which nearly 10 lakh appeared. The exam was held in two shifts on all three days.
Heavy Rush Witnessed
Many exam centres witnessed heavy rush of candidates leading to chaos and mismanagement in some places. Several aspirants complained of being denied entry.
BPSC Promises Fair Selection
Given the scale of the exam and recruitment, the BPSC has promised to ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process.
Merit List to be Released
Along with result, the commission will also release the merit list of candidates who have cleared the cut-off marks.
Document Verification Next
Shortlisted candidates will then be called for document verification before final appointment.
